Recently I have problem with the Elan touchpad on my Samsung Series 9, it does not remember the setting on Windows 8.1. I tried to go the Elan/Samsung website, there is nothing for me do download.
I think all the Elan drivers are similar so I google it, yes I got the new Elan driver and it’s working perfectly. I thought I would share.
Here is the link to the Elan driver, be sure check your driver version first (Control panel > Mouse > Elan Tab)
Update: Please go to the link below and download the newest version of Elan touchpad, I hope it will work.
This website has a lot more useful drivers!

Updated to ver. 5.3.2
I’ve been using this for years (also use the DPS v13). For the speed and less problems, I would recommend you guys go with this one. Simple and very fast. I’ve tested on multiple PCs from XP to 7 (32/64bit).
Download link 5.3.1
After you download it, pick the one compatible with your system (eg. Windows 7 64bit) and go there.
Right click on the exe file named
WanDrv(x64) and left click on Run as Administrator. Different versions of Windows will have different names but it should start with WanDrv
It will take seconds to load the program (if something pops up, just say Yes to continue)
Check the box of drivers you want to install or you can check all the boxes.
If you don’t want to make their website as your homepage, UNCHECK the last box and say YES.
Start(S) on the top-left of the program and pick the 2nd option to start the process, Extrac and install drivers (Recommend)
Now waiting for few minutes. Reboot after it’s done!!!
Hope this helps.
